Recently, Eli Lilly and Company announced the latest Phase 2 study data for retatrutide in the treatment of obesity.
According to the data, at 24 weeks, retatrutide (1mg, 4mg, 8mg, or 12mg) achieved the primary endpoint using efficacy estimation goals in non-diabetic subjects who were obese or overweight, with an average weight loss of 17.5% (18.7 kg). For the secondary endpoint, retatrutide resulted in an average weight loss of 24.2% (26.2 kg) at the end of 48 weeks of treatment. These findings were presented at the 83rd Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and simultaneously published in The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).
