Qilu Pharmaceutical Expands Cisplatin Injection Exports to the U.S. Amid Critical Drug Shortage

Zhang Hanchang, Vice President of Qilu Pharmaceutical Group and General Manager of Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., stated that the first batch of Cisplatin Injection was shipped on May 31, totaling more than 20,000 vials. After entering the U.S. market, it was quickly snapped up by medical institutions. About 20 days later, the U.S. FDA placed a second order for nearly 50,000 vials, which have now been transported to the U.S. and were immediately reserved by medical institutions. Currently, Qilu Pharmaceutical is in communication with the U.S. FDA regarding a third order, comprising a total of 10 batches, approximately 80,000 to 90,000 vials, with the exact quantity yet to be determined.
