Recently, according to Tianyancha information, Beijing Yimiao Shenzhou Medical Technology Co., Ltd. has completed a new round of financing, with this round of investment jointly made by TSINGYUAN CAPITAL, Zhejiang Lianfeng Yueheng Investment Management Co., Ltd., and others. The TSINGYUAN CAPITAL team previously participated in Yimiao Shenzhou's first round of financing.
Yimiao Shenzhou, founded in April 2015 by He Ting, Lu Xin'an, and Qi Feifei—three doctoral graduates from the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University—is a research and development institution specializing in immune cell therapy. It provides users with cancer diagnosis and treatment services based on the CAR-T immune cell therapy. Yimiao Shenzhou's core team has first-line international experience and is top-tier in areas such as R&D, quality control, and clinical integration. The expert team comes from leading hospitals such as Peking University Third Hospital, Peking University Institute of Hematology, and Peking University Cancer Hospital.
With a one-stop independent gene and cell drug R&D and industrialization platform, it has mastered core technologies such as large-scale plasmid preparation, lentiviral vector preparation, and primary immune cell preparation. It has obtained four clinical trial approval notices for drugs issued by the National Medical Products Administration and Beijing's first Drug Production License for gene and cell therapy drugs. The R&D pipeline covers hematological tumors such as lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma, as well as solid tumors like liver cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
Beijing Yimiaoshenzhou Medical Techology Co., Ltd.'s independently developed next-generation CAR-T technology is the first in the industry to achieve a full-process serum-free, large-scale preparation of gene vectors, high production success rates, and long-lasting efficacy of CAR-T in vivo, significantly improving the product's effectiveness and safety.
On June 28, 2023, Beijing Yimiaoshenzhou Medical Techology Co., Ltd.'s self-developed next-generation anti-tumor drug, IM83 Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell Injection (IM83 CAR-T Cell Injection, abbreviated as "IM83"), received the clinical trial approval notice from the National Medical Products Administration for the treatment of advanced liver cancer. This is the fourth CAR-T cell drug clinical trial approval obtained by Yimiao Shenzhou, and also the first CAR-T cell drug clinical trial approval for the treatment of solid tumors.
