Bayer Appoints Heike Prinz as Chief Talent Officer and Labor Director

On August 21, Bayer announced the appointment of Heike Prinz as Chief Talent Officer (CTO) and Labor Director. She will also become a member of Bayer's Management Board. The appointment will take effect on September 1, 2023.

Heike Prinz was originally the Head of Commercial Operations for Bayer's pharmaceutical business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and also a member of the pharmaceutical executive committee.

Heike Prinz is a Master of Business Administration from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. In 1986, Heike Prinz joined Schering AG. Later, after the company was acquired by Bayer in 2006, Heike Prinz joined Bayer. She has been with Bayer for 37 years, during which she has made contributions in sales, commercialization, and general management.

Bayer Supervisory Board Chairman Norbert Winkeljohann said, "We are delighted to welcome Heike Prinz to the Bayer Management Board. With her extensive and profound experience, as well as her excellent leadership in the growth and expansion of global teams at large corporations, she is the ideal candidate for this role. Heike is a role model for talent development and a true advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She will focus on further advancing Bayer's talent strategy and will serve as the Labor Director."
