Huaxia Yingtai(Beijing)Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2018 by renowned immunologist Professor Lin Xin. The company focuses on the development and industrialization of gene-edited T-cell immunotherapy products, aiming to address unmet clinical needs such as advanced cancer. Based on its pioneering STAR-T technology platform and a well-established process development and analytical quality control industrialization platform, the company has developed a rich pipeline of autologous and site-specific integrative universal products targeting hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.

The STAR-T technology platform combines the advantages of CAR-T and TCR-T, offering significant improvements over traditional CAR-T therapies, such as higher antigen sensitivity, stronger tumor infiltration capability, and enhanced safety. Supported by this platform, multiple product pipelines are currently in clinical or preclinical development stages. Among them, the CD19/CD20 dual-target product received clinical trial approval from China's Center for Drug Evaluation on September 6, 2022, and is currently undergoing Phase I clinical trials led by Peking University Cancer Hospital. Another product targeting LILRB4, YTS104, for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), was granted orphan drug designation by the U.S. FDA in December of last year.

Currently, the existing patents related to CAR-T cell immunotherapy are mainly held by large multinational pharmaceutical companies, and the treatment costs are expensive. However, the emergence of STAR-T is expected to change this situation. According to an official introduction by Huaxia Yingtai(Beijing)Biotechnology Co., Ltd., before 2026, the company will push for the market launch of at least two cell therapy drugs developed based on STAR-T, allowing China to own its own patents, thereby benefiting more Chinese cancer patients.

The head of Huaxia Yingtai stated: "As one of China's four major world-class exhibition platforms for opening up to the world, alongside the Canton Fair, CIIE, and CICPE, the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) and its Health and Wellness Service Exhibition have showcased numerous cutting-edge innovative project achievements, reflecting the innovative level of China's medical technology and the latest advancements in the pharmaceutical field. Huaxia Yingtai is one of the few companies in China with core intellectual property rights in immune cell therapy technology. We are delighted to be invited to participate in this year’s CIFTIS and leverage this national-level exhibition platform to introduce our novel STAR-T immune cell therapy technology platform and the R&D progress of our next-generation cell therapy products to guests from all sectors. We look forward to the products developed through this technology benefiting patients in China and around the world as soon as possible, helping humanity overcome solid tumors, blood cancers, and autoimmune diseases."
