Recently, Nimbus Therapeutics announced the completion of a $210 million private financing to advance the development of its next-generation small molecule drugs.The proceeds from this financing will be used to advance multiple preclinical programs into early clinical development stages, including projects targeting the DNA helicase WRN for Werner syndrome and an undisclosed autoimmune disease target.

This round of financing was co-led by new investor GV, existing investor SR One, and Atlas Venture. Additionally, existing investors who participated in this financing include Bain Capital Life Sciences, BVF Partners, Gates Frontier, Lightstone Ventures, Pfizer Ventures, RA Capital Management, and SV Health Investors, as well as a U.S.-based fund focused on the life sciences sector.

Nimbus Therapeutics is a clinical-stage drug discovery company dedicated to developing novel small-molecule medicines against proven but difficult-to-drug targets in a variety of human diseases.Nimbus Therapeutics combines computational technology with a range of machine learning-based predictive modeling methods. Its pipeline includes a Hematopoietic Progenitor Kinase 1 (HPK1) inhibitor for cancer treatment in clinical development, along with a diverse portfolio of preclinical programs targeting cancer, autoimmune diseases, and metabolic disorders.

Nimbus Therapeutics' main product, NDI-101150, is an HPK1 inhibitor for patients with solid tumors, currently being tested in Phase 1/2 clinical trials. Additionally, through a collaboration with Eli Lilly, Nimbus is also developing novel targeted therapies that activate AMPK to treat various metabolic diseases.

To date, Nimbus has completed multiple rounds of financing, raising nearly US$500 million in total.

The current helmsman of Nimbus Therapeutics is Mr. Jeb Keiper, who has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nimbus Therapeutics since October 2018, bringing with him extensive industry experience.
