Astellas Pharma announced on September 14 that it will invest over 330 million euros to build a plant in Tralee, Ireland. The construction will begin next year and is expected to commence operations in 2028.
The statement said that this investment aims to expand the production capacity of sterile drugs, strengthen stable production for global supply, and accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative antibody drugs and other new products.
