Samsung Biologics and Bristol Myers Squibb Expand Strategic Collaboration for Large-Scale Production of Commercial Antibody Cancer Therapeutics

Samsung Bioepis Co., Ltd. andBristol-Myers Squibb(BMY.US) has reached an agreement to mass-produce Bristol-Myers Squibb's commercial antibody cancer drugs.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Samsung Biologics will provide active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production for antibody cancer drugs at its largest biomanufacturing facility, the fourth plant located in Songdo, South Korea.

Currently, these two companies have collaborated to produce a commercial antibody cancer drug, and over time, they have not only continued their cooperation in manufacturing but also expanded their partnership at the strategic level.
