Alto Neuroscience Reports Positive Phase 2a Results for Oral Candidate ALTO-100 in PTSD, Advancing Precision Psychiatry Approach

Recently, Alto Neuroscience announced the results of the PTSD cohort in the phase 2a clinical trial of its oral candidate therapy ALTO-100, demonstrating the efficacy and favorable safety profile of ALTO-100 in patients with PTSD. Building on the results of the MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) cohort reported in January 2023, the findings from the PTSD cohort further support the strong therapeutic potential of ALTO-100 for patients with comorbid mood and affective disorders as well as plasticity deficits. The study, an 8-week open-label trial, was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ALTO-100 in patients with MDD or PTSD.
