RNAi Therapy for the Treatment of Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). This therapy is one of the siRNA series drugs targeting Heat Shock Protein 47 (HSP47), which was introduced by Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2016 through an upfront payment of $100 million to Nitto BioPharma, a Japanese biotechnology company. Subsequently, Bristol-Myers Squibb abandoned its RNAi therapy for the treatment of NASH.
