Nobel Laureate-Founded Caribou Biosciences Reports 94% ORR in Allogeneic CAR-T Therapy as AbbVie Terminates Collaboration

The notice showed that AbbVie had exercised its right to terminate the agreement based on an internal company decision. This decision was made according to AbbVie's strategic priorities and was unrelated to Caribou’s performance under the agreement or the data generated thus far. With the consent of both Caribou and AbbVie, the termination of the agreement will take effect on October 25, 2023. It is reported that these two universal CAR-T products were introduced by AbbVie in 2021.
