At the same time, based on the team's extensive R&D experience, LifeShield optimized the flow field design of the key component of the pVAD product—the high-speed impeller—improving the operational efficiency and hemocompatibility of the interventional pump.
In previous animal experiments, it has been successfully verified that the hemolysis level is far below the clinically relevant value, no blood clots or thrombosis have formed in the critical parts of the interventional pump, and no major clinical complications have been recorded.
Moreover, LifeShield effectively reduces the size of pVAD products by optimizing components and the overall design of the pVAD product, allowing it to be operated in catheterization labs and operating rooms, significantly improving clinical operational convenience and safety.
