SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 2023--Twist Bioscience Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST), a company that uses its silicon-based platform to provide high-quality synthetic DNA to help customers succeed,Announcement of Antibody Discovery, Option and License Agreement with BayerAccording to the terms of the agreement, Twist Biopharma Solutions, a division of Twist Bioscience, will utilize its Library of Libraries to carry out antibody discovery activities targeting specific targets identified by Bayer. Bayer will have the right to opt for licensing the antibodies discovered through this collaboration.

Under the terms of the agreement, Twist will receive payments associated with the initiation of the research and is eligible to receive fees related to research milestones and the exercise of license options. Antibody leads discovered through the collaboration that advance to clinical development will be eligible for certain success-based clinical and commercial milestone payments, as well as royalties from product sales. In total, Twist is eligible to receive up to $188 million in clinical and commercial milestone payments and royalties. In return, Bayer will obtain exclusive rights to commercially license the antibody globally.
