Introduction: Positive results are encouraging, and the marketing application has been accepted by the CDE.

Recently, Qilu Pharmaceutical received official notification from the Scientific Committee of the 2023 European Society for Medical Oncology Asia Congress (ESMO Asia) that the abstract of the research results on Iruac tablets for ALK-positive NSCLC patients with prior resistance to second-generation TKIs has been accepted as a poster and will be presented during the ESMO Asia conference from December 1st to 3rd.

At the end of June this year, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved the listing of Iruka tablets (Qixinke®) for the treatment of patients with ALK-positive locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC who have progressed after prior crizotinib treatment or are intolerant to crizotinib. In September, the first-line treatment data of Iruka for ALK-positive locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC patients was orally presented (Oral Report) at the 2023 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC), showing positive and encouraging results. The marketing application has been accepted by the CDE.

To provide more reliable clinical evidence for subsequent widespread clinical applications, the Irulac tablet not only conducted multiple clinical studies but also deeply analyzed past research data. It summarized and statistically analyzed the data of 11 cases previously treated with second-generation TKIs from the Phase I study, successfully discovering that the efficacy and safety of Irulac in treating second-generation TKI-resistant ALK-positive NSCLC are both encouraging.

The study data were accepted by a top international academic conference, providing strong scientific evidence for the use of Iruak tablets in the second-generation TKI-resistant population. This greatly expands the application population of Iruak tablets and will bring new treatment options to more ALK-positive NSCLC patients.
