Recently, Leqembi, a new Alzheimer's disease (AD) drug jointly developed by Japan's Eisai and America's Biogen, has officially passed the review of Hainan Provincial Drug Administration and landed in Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone (referred to as "Hainan Lecheng"), under the brand name "Leyibao," priced at 3,328.2 yuan per bottle. It is reported that the landing of Leqembi in Hainan Lecheng means that patients, regardless of whether they have Hainan household registration or not, can purchase the drug in Lecheng, but it can only be used within Lecheng and cannot be taken out of the Lecheng area.
