Dr. Qunsheng Ji, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer/CEO of Sirius TherapeuticsFormer Vice President of WuXi AppTec and Head of the Oncology and Immunology Department; Dr. Ji has over 20 years of work and leadership experience in drug discovery and translational science. Prior to this, Dr. Qunsheng Ji served as the Head of Bioscience at AstraZeneca’s China Innovation Center. Established in Shanghai in 2007, the center benefited significantly from Dr. Ji's role as one of its early pioneers in terms of development positioning and business expansion. He was not only responsible for nearly 20 new drug R&D project pipelines in oncology and metabolic diseases at AstraZeneca, but as Director of Translational Science, he also oversaw innovative drug translational science for both global and Chinese regions. Before joining AstraZeneca, Dr. Ji worked at OSI and ONYX Biopharmaceuticals in the United States, where he led and developed multiple oncology drug projects as a program director.
