Atom Therapeutics recently completed a Series D financing round exceeding 600 million RMB. This round was participated in by both new and existing shareholders, led by Cetus Capital, with follow-on investments from Fortune Venture Capital, Huajin Investment, Qiandao Group, and Xinyi Investment. CITIC Securities and FinCapital served as the company's financial advisors. Following this financing round, the company's total funding amounts to approximately 1.2 billion RMB. The proceeds from this Series D round will primarily be used to complete the pivotal global and China-based clinical studies of ABP-671, as well as to further advance the development of an innovative drug pipeline for treating inflammation and other diseases.
Atom Therapeutics currently has multiple products at different stages, including preclinical and clinical phases. Among them, ABP-671, a Class 1.1 innovative drug for the treatment of chronic gout, has entered pivotal clinical trials globally. ABP-671 lowers serum uric acid (sUA) levels by inhibiting the renal uric acid transporter 1 (URAT1), promoting normal excretion of urinary urate. The primary clinical endpoint is to reduce sUA to < 6 mg/dL (360 μmol/L).
Recently, Sirius Therapeutics (SHANGHAI) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Sirius Therapeutics") announced the completion of a $60 million Series B financing round to advance the clinical development of its siRNA novel therapy pipeline and the iterative innovation of next-generation nucleic acid molecule delivery technology. This round of financing was led by H&K Capital, with participation from Prosperity Global Investment Fund. Existing investors Orbimed and Vast Rising Capital continued to increase their investments. To date, the company has raised nearly $100 million in financing.

Recently, Inhal Pharma, a leading innovator in dry powder inhalation (DPI) formulations in China, successfully completed its Series A financing round, raising over 50 million RMB. Since its establishment in June 2020, Ningbo Inhal Pharma Co., Ltd. has achieved significant breakthroughs in the development of DPI formulations and inhalation devices, with its valuation increasing fivefold.
This Series A round of financing was led by Beijing Saiying Capital, which focuses on the healthcare sector, with participation from multiple high-quality institutions. After this investment, Inhal Pharma plans to establish a Beijing subsidiary to advance its flagship products into the clinical stage, aiming to secure a leading position in the Chinese market. Additionally, Inhal Pharma will accelerate the development of innovative formulations and devices through collaboration with strategic partners.
