Since entering October, multiple financing and investment events have also occurred in the pharmaceuticals field, among which Atom Therapeutics completed a D-round financing of over 600 million RMB.
 
Atom Therapeutics recently announced the completion of a Series D financing round exceeding 600 million RMB. This round of financing was jointly participated by both new and existing shareholders, led by Caten Capital, with follow-on investments from Fortune Venture Capital, Huajin Investment, Qiandao Group, and Xinyi Investment. CITIC Securities and Fangyuan Capital served as the company's financial advisors. Following the completion of this round of financing, the company's total financing amounts to approximately 1.2 billion RMB.
 
Atom Therapeutics, founded in 2012, focuses on the research and development of Best-in-Class innovative drugs for metabolic and inflammatory diseases. In recent years, it has achieved significant developmental milestones, with multiple products at preclinical and clinical stages. The proceeds from this round of financing will mainly be used to complete the pivotal global and China-based clinical studies of ABP-671, as well as to further advance the development of its pipeline of innovative drugs for inflammation and other diseases. Atom Therapeutics secures over 600 million yuan in D-round financing to accelerate clinical research of innovative drugs like those for chronic gout.
 
For example, AI pharmaceutical company Iambic Therapeutics (formerly "Entos," hereinafter referred to as Iambic) recently announced the completion of a $100 million Series B financing round. This round was co-led by Ascenta Capital and Abingworth, with participation from new and existing investors including NVIDIA, Illumina Ventures, Gradiant Corporation, Nexus Ventures, Catalio Capital Management, Coatue, FreeFlow, Orbimed, Sequoia Capital, and board member Bill Rastetter. The funds will be used to advance the continuous innovation of its AI platform and the clinical development of its drug candidates.
 
In addition, according to the review, Anvianda Pharmaceutical Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., an innovative drug R&D company in the clinical stage specializing in the field of immune inflammation, recently officially announced the completion of an angel round financing worth tens of millions of RMB, exclusively led by Danlu Capital. This round of financing will mainly be used to initiate the Phase I clinical trials of MAX-001, the core pipeline of Anvianda Pharmaceutical, both domestically and internationally, as well as to further build a team with international and pharmaceutical industry experience, accelerating the R&D and industrialization process of innovative drugs in the field of immune inflammatory diseases.
