Ascentage Pharma-B Shares Rise Nearly 4% on Clinical Collaboration with AstraZeneca for APG-2575 in First-Line CLL/SLL Treatment

Ascentage Pharma recently announced that it has entered into a clinical collaboration agreement with AstraZeneca. The two parties will jointly conduct a registrational Phase III clinical study of APG-2575, a Bcl-2 inhibitor, in combination with AstraZeneca's Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, Calquence (generic name: acalabrutinib), for the first-line treatment of previously untreated patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).
