1. Rongmai Medical Completes Tens of Millions in Financing, Fuyuan Investment Invests
October 25th, news reported that Shanghai Rongmai Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a developer of peripheral vascular interventional treatment medical devices, announced the completion of a multi-million-yuan new round of financing. This round was exclusively invested by HHF Fuyuan Investment. The funds will mainly be used for the research and development, clinical studies, and commercialization of innovative peripheral vascular interventional treatment medical devices, accelerating the domestic substitution of high-end medical devices in China.
2. Leadinno Medical Valley Completes Over 100 Million Yuan in Series A+ Financing
Leadinno Medical Valley (hereinafter referred to as "Leadinno") has recently completed an A+ round of financing exceeding RMB 100 million. This round of financing was led by Fortune Ventures, with Wuxi Zhaoge Lifen following the investment, and Source One Capital serving as the exclusive financial advisor. The funds raised will be used for the research and development, production of spinal cord nerve electrical stimulation (SCS) and peripheral nerve electrical stimulation (PNS) products, as well as for company operations. Hengrui Pharma Announces Phase I Study Results of ADC Innovative Drug SHR-A2009 for Advanced Solid Tumors On October 23, 2023, the Phase I study of Hengrui Pharma's innovative drug, the HER3-targeted ADC SHR-A2009 for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, was presented during the Mini Oral session at the conference. The study, led by Professor Wu Yilong from Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital, showed that SHR-A2009 demonstrated manageable safety and encouraging anti-tumor activity in patients with previously treated advanced solid tumors. 4. Tsinghua Team Reveals How Genetic Information Utilizes Cells to Form Tissue Spatial Morphology Recently, an international team of scientists from the Brain and Intelligence Research Lab at Tsinghua University and the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University developed a new computational method that can reconstruct cellular spatial organization using single-cell transcriptomic data. The study shows that this method, named De Novo Coalescent Embedding (D-CE), outperforms existing technologies in mapping individual cells back to their original locations within tissues. 5. New Research from East China Normal University Enables Rapid Drug Efficacy Release Research team led by Ye Haifeng, a researcher at the School of Life Sciences, East China Normal University, has developed a precise and controllable protein rapid-release technology platform called the PASS system by reprogramming the protein secretion pathway, achieving minute-level controllable release of protein drugs.
