Recently, Sonosemi Medical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SONOSEMI) announced the completion of a Series B financing round exceeding 200 million RMB, led jointly by Yuexiu Industrial Fund and CCB Equity, with participation from Cornerstone Capital. Original shareholders Tencent Investment, Eight Roads, and Yahu Investment continued to increase their investments. The funds raised in this round will be used for the research, development, production, and commercialization of core products.
SONOSEMI is a provider of active interventional diagnosis and treatment solutions for泛vascular applications. The company focuses on medical fields represented by cardiovascular and cerebrovascular, as well as peripheral vascular areas, and is committed to the design, development, manufacturing, and sales of high-value active treatment and diagnostic catheters and devices. Its main products include active interventional high-value medical consumables such as shockwave balloon catheters and ultrasound catheters, covering cardiovascular clinical fields such as coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and structural heart disease. It is expected that by the end of 2024, a product portfolio consisting of 4-6 products will be formed.
