NMPA Approves Registration of 187 Medical Devices in September 2023

On October 26, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) released the "Announcement of the National Medical Products Administration on the Approval and Registration of 187 Medical Device Products (September 2023) (No. 136 of 2023)."

According to the announcement, in September 2023, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved the registration of 187 medical device products. This includes 137 Class III medical devices produced in China, 25 imported Class III medical devices, 24 imported Class II medical devices, and 1 medical device product from Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan (specific products are listed at the end).

Among them, Hanyu Medical's Mitral Valve Clip System is an innovative medical device, and it is also the first domestically produced mitral regurgitation interventional device approved for marketing in China.

According to statistics, from January to September this year, the National Medical Products Administration has approved the registration of 1,867 medical device products.
