Recently,As a provider of active interventional diagnosis and treatment solutions for泛血管 in China, Sonosemi Medical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SONOSEMI") has completed a B-round financing of over 200 million RMB.This round of financing was jointly led by Yuexiu Industrial Fund and CCB Equity, with Cornerstone Capital following up. Existing shareholders Tencent Investment, Eight Roads Capital, and Yahui Investment continued to increase their investment, demonstrating the investors' confidence in the company's future development. Dandelion Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor. The funds raised in this round will be used for the research, development, production, and commercialization of core products.
SONOSEMI, founded in April 2020 and headquartered in Shenzhen, has broken through the technical barriers of overseas high-end medical devices over three years of development. It independently developed innovative active interventional products for pan-vascular applications, including a coronary intravascular shockwave treatment system, peripheral arterial intravascular shockwave treatment system, intracardiac ultrasound imaging system, and intravascular ultrasound. It is expected that by the end of 2024, the company will form a product matrix consisting of 4-6 products to provide customers with comprehensive, integrated solutions.
SONOSEMI has developed an innovative product matrix focused on precision interventional diagnosis and treatment for coronary, peripheral, structural heart disease, and electrophysiology. Addressing unmet clinical needs and pain points in current interventional therapies, the company simplifies surgical procedures, improves operational efficiency, reduces medical costs, and collaborates with industry partners and supply chain resources to provide patients with greener, safer, more cost-effective, and efficient universal solutions.
As of now, SONOSEMI has applied for more than 100 patents of various kinds, including over 50 invention patents. It maintains a leading technological edge in the field of active interventional devices for pan-vascular applications, achieving the domestic production of such products and filling the industrial gap in China.
