Recently, Argo Biopharma has completed a 300 million RMB A+ round of financing. This round was led by SDIC Venture Capital, with participation from Huagai Capital, Yuanxi Haihe (Tianjin) Biomedical Industry Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), and existing investor Beijing Baixun Investment Management Co., Ltd. The proceeds will be used to further advance the global development of four clinical pipelines, the discovery of multiple preclinical candidate drug molecules (PCC), the iterative upgrading of modification technology platforms and extracellular delivery technology platforms, as well as the enhancement of the company's professional team.

Previously, Argo completed an angel round of financing worth tens of millions of RMB exclusively invested by Apricot Capital, as well as an A-round financing exceeding 400 million RMB. The investors included several well-known investment institutions such as Loyal Valley Capital, CPE Source Peak, Daoyuan Capital, Beijing Baixun Investment Management Co., Ltd., and Jinchuanjiang United Venture Capital.

Argo Biopharma was founded in April 2021, focusing on the development of siRNA drugs and established by several scientists with extensive experience in siRNA drug development. Committed to developing a new generation of siRNA drugs, Argo has accumulated years of professional expertise in the entire process of RNAi drug development, including nucleic acid sequence design, chemical modification, GalNAc delivery technology, extrahepatic tissue-targeted delivery technology, oligonucleotide synthesis, and CMC. A complete nucleic acid drug development platform has been successfully established at Argo.

Argo has four pipelines in the clinical stage, one pipeline about to enter clinical trials, and multiple pipelines with confirmed PCC. The therapeutic areas cover cardiovascular diseases, rare diseases, hepatitis B, autoimmune diseases, and neurological disorders. Clinical approvals have been obtained in multiple regions, including China, the United States, and Australia.
