Company CEO Michael Kallok announced the promotion of Scott Kraus to Chief Operating Officer. Kraus recently served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cardio Flow, overseeing all commercial functions.

Before joining Cardio Flow, Kraus served as Regional General Manager at Abiomed (acquired by Johnson & Johnson). Other roles include positions at Cardiovascular Systems, Intact Vascular, and Intersect ENT, which were acquired by Abbott, Philips, and Medtronic, respectively.

FreedomFlow is a rotational atherectomy catheter with an integrated disposable catheter that controls the rotation and translation of the drive shaft, incorporating electrodes and saline pumps. FreedomFlow consists of four parts: the control handle, rotational atherectomy catheter, saline delivery catheter, and power supply.

The distal rotational grinding head of the FeedomFlow rotational atherectomy catheter features five diamond-coated grinding spheres and a front-end grinding head design. This unique design gives FreedomFlow a distinctive spiral geometry, creating rotational vortices during rotational grinding that allow the five diamond-coated grinding spheres to continuously contact the vessel wall, whether moving forward or backward.
