Provider of Artificial Intelligence Technology in Medicine

In recent years, collaborations in the AI pharmaceuticals field have been emerging one after another.
Global CRO, Parexel, Saama and AstraZeneca, NVIDIA and Lambic, among other companies, have all joined hands to invest in AI drug development.
Recently, Servier announced an innovative partnership with biotechnology company Owkin, aiming toLeveraging AI Technology to Advance Multiple Targeted Disease Treatment Areas, including oncology.

Servier Chief Scientific Officer Claude Bertrand said: "The Breakthrough Integration of Medicine and Artificial Intelligence Technology", is the key to rapidly launching breakthrough treatments, thus ushering in a new era of innovation in patient care."
"By working together, the two companies will first address two major challenges in translational medicine and digital pathology," said Thomas Clozel, co-founder and CEO of Owkin. "Owkin will apply the most advanced machine learning to Servier's extensive clinical data to provide new insights into diseases and significantly improve patient outcomes."
Their collaboration mainly focuses onTwo ProjectsExpand:
The first project aims to identify tumor types, the tumor microenvironment, and unrecognized patient subgroups that may respond best to Servier's assets. The two companies will then analyze tumor evolution to potentially identify drug combinations that may act on additional immune checkpoints or intrinsic mechanisms of tumor cells.
The second project will explore the implementation of digital pathology and its potential to accelerate screening and enable broader analysis of tissue-based biomarkers.
