On November 5, the 6th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as "CIIE") officially opened at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. Bayer participated in the CIIE for the sixth consecutive year, showcasing its three major divisions: Pharmaceuticals (and Radiology), Consumer Health, and Crop Science.

At this year's CIIE, under the exhibition theme of "Science Creates a Better Life+", Bayer has set up booths in the Medical Device and Healthcare展区 and Crop Seed Industry专区, showcasing diversified innovative products and solutions in the fields of prescription drugs, imaging diagnostics, health consumer goods, and crop science.

In the prescription drug field, Bayer showcased four innovative drugs covering treatment areas such as chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular diseases, oncology, and ophthalmology. Previously exhibited at the CIIE, Kerendia (finerenone), Verquvo (vericiguat), and Nubeqa (darolutamide) made another appearance at this year’s CIIE. Among them, Kerendia (finerenone), which was approved in China in 2022 for adult patients with chronic kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes, received an expanded approval in May this year to include cardiovascular-related benefits in its indications. Verquvo (vericiguat), the first soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) stimulator for heart failure treatment, has been approved in China. Nubeqa (darolutamide), after being approved for treating non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer with high-risk metastasis, received an additional indication in March this year for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer in China, extending its use throughout the entire course of prostate cancer treatment. Additionally, Eylea High Dose (aflibercept) 8mg intravitreal injection solution was unveiled at the CIIE.

In the field of imaging diagnostics, Bayer presents two innovative products: the next-generation CT high-pressure injection system, MEDRAD Stellant FLEX, and the MEDRAD MRXperion high-pressure injection system (WS 3.0), further supporting precise treatment. Compared to the previous generation, the optimized MEDRAD Stellant FLEX can effectively improve hospital work efficiency, enhance safety risk elimination, while reducing usage costs and the environmental impact of medical supplies. Another exhibit, MEDRAD MRXperion, is equipped with the new Workstation 3.0 (WS 3.0) module, increasing operational flexibility and providing users with a better experience.

The four products showcased by the Consumer Health division include: Daxi Compound Digestive Enzyme Capsules, Bepanthen High Moisture Lotion, Little Elevit Selected DHA Algal Oil, and Little Elevit Baby Liquid Calcium. Among them, Daxi Compound Digestive Enzyme Capsules, launched this year, contain four highly active enzymes with a patented microsphere structure that directly acts on food in the stomach and intestines, helping to address issues such as lack of appetite and indigestion. Bepanthen High Moisture Lotion features a scientifically developed skin-friendly formula to help build healthy skin barriers from an early age. In terms of maternal and infant nutrition, Little Elevit Selected DHA Algal Oil supports eye and brain health through its quadruple nutrient formula. Little Elevit Baby Liquid Calcium combines organic calcium citrate with Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 to promote bone health.

Bayer Crop Science Division Focuses on "Regenerative Agriculture, Everlasting Life" Theme, Showcasing Bayer's Product Solutions and Business Progress in Sustainability and Innovation. The project's five-year achievements were showcased at the China International Import Expo.

In addition, Bayer will bring more interactive experiences to the audience during the exhibition. Selected works from the "Seeing Vitality" multi-artist creation art exhibition will be showcased at the CIIE venue.
