WYTD Medical secures nearly RMB 100M in Series A funding to advance complete PFO solution

Recently, WYTD Medical Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. ("WYTD Medical") announced the completion of a nearly 100 million yuan Series A financing round. This round was led by Taiping Medical and Healthcare Fund, with Changjiang Capital participating as a co-investor.

The proceeds will accelerate the industrialization and commercialization of the company's complete solution for patent foramen ovale (PFO), while also strengthening its innovative product portfolio in the field of structural heart disease. With the successful closure of this funding round, WYTD Medical has established a diverse shareholder base encompassing insurance capital, securities firms, industrial listed companies, and venture capital institutions.

WYTD Medical has assembled a seasoned product development team with expertise spanning material R&D, structural design, diagnostic equipment, and clinical registration to address diverse scenarios in PFO diagnosis and treatment. Driven by clinical needs, the company is building a complete portfolio of innovative PFO management devices. Several products have already received market approval, including the ConSpeed® Automatic Diagnosis Equipment for Cardiac Shunt (Guangdong Medical Device Registration No. 20252061271), ConSiz® Atrial Septal Measuring Balloon (National Medical Device Registration No. 20243032084), and ConSuper® Delivery Systems (National Medical Device Registration No. 20243030961). The ConBrella® Degradable Occluder has entered China's Green Channel for innovative medical device review and is expected to receive registration approval shortly.
