"Photon Spectrum Diagnosis and Treatment System" Achieves Precise Quantification of All Nuclides, Promoting the Implementation of Innovative Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies. GE Healthcare, in collaboration with Stanford University, the University of Wisconsin, and multiple global institutions and installed users, has co-developed a new "Photon Spectrum Diagnosis and Treatment System." By tracking photon energy spectra in real time, it can restore true PET photon information in real time, helping clinicians obtain finer structures, multi-dimensional functional information, and more accurate quantification in a shorter period of time, revealing lesions in a more essential and comprehensive manner.
Since GE Healthcare launched its first integrated PET/MR in 2014, it has continuously promoted the clinical research value and product innovation of this equipment. In recent years, GE Healthcare's R&D team has maintained research collaborations with international university hospitals such as Mayo Clinic, Stanford, and the University of Cambridge. In China, top research-oriented hospitals including Peking Union Medical College Hospital, PLA General Hospital 301, and West China Hospital have been conducting clinical research based on GE Healthcare’s PET/MR platform. GE Healthcare will leverage this industry-academia-research-medical ecosystem, focusing on clinical issues, to carry out projects including academic exchanges, talent development, and research initiatives, continuously advancing the development of nuclear medicine and implementing more innovative technologies in clinical practice to create limitless healthcare compassion.

GE Healthcare Releases for the First Time a Higher Stability and Safety MRI Contrast Agent for Newborns – Gadoterate Meglumine Injection (Trade Name: Clariscan®, applicable for children aged 2 years and below, hereinafter referred to as Clariscan®). Traditional gadolinium-based contrast agents carry potential risks when used in pediatric patients. Represented by Clariscan®, cyclic contrast agents with higher stability and safety have a broader application scope. When used in contrast-enhanced MRI examinations, they can improve the accuracy of imaging tests across all age groups, especially in pediatric imaging examinations. This enables precise screening and early diagnosis and treatment of severe and potentially fatal diseases in children, promoting the implementation of precision medicine in the field of pediatrics.

"Clariscan®" is the second MRI contrast agent launched by GE Healthcare, 23 years after Omniscan® in 1999. Its highly symmetrical structure enhances drug stability: due to its unique structure, this innovative cyclic contrast agent ensures that gadolinium ions are tightly encapsulated at the center of the chelate, effectively preventing the release of gadolinium ions in the body and avoiding exchanges with calcium ions in the body, which could cause biotoxicity. Additionally, Clariscan® has a lower incidence of allergy-like reactions, higher safety, and broader global application, supporting safe and effective contrast-enhanced MRI examinations. Especially for pediatric patients, this high-safety contrast agent can be used for MRI examinations in children aged 2 years and below (including newborns), assisting in qualitative diagnosis and precise evaluation, and providing guidance for subsequent treatment plans. For instance, in the case of neuroblastoma, which is highly prevalent among children, using Clariscan® for contrast-enhanced MRI can accurately display the internal morphology, external boundaries, and blood supply information of tumors, offering a basis for qualitative diagnosis and TNM staging, and guiding subsequent clinical treatment plans. It helps achieve early diagnosis and screening of major diseases in children, promoting the high-quality development of children's healthcare.


GE Healthcare Unveils and Exhibits the Fully Upgraded Invenia™ ABUS 2.0 Automated Breast Ultrasound AI Comprehensive Solution for the First Time. This solution innovatively adopts scan-read separation + AI workstation, which not only enables rapid automatic acquisition of high-quality homogeneous images, improving clinical detection rates, but also achieves remote diagnosis through standardized imaging acquisition and cloud transmission, covering the entire pathway of breast disease screening, diagnosis, and follow-up, promoting large-scale普及screening for breast cancer in extensive grassroots areas across China.

Promote Homogenization of Breast Disease Screening with Standard Acquisition and High-Quality Imaging. The Invenia™ ABUS 2.0 fully automatic breast ultrasound AI comprehensive solution is equipped with GE Healthcare's fifth-generation cSound™ holographic domain imaging platform and features a wide-field arc probe specifically developed for breast ultrasound examinations. While ensuring high-definition uniform images across the entire field and providing an unobstructed view of multiple lesions, it achieves full-breast scanning imaging in just 40 seconds. Additionally, this solution incorporates artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted screening to enhance the detection rate of small lesions, reduce doctors' initial screening time, and meet the needs of precise breast screening at the grassroots level in China, which has a large population base.

Invenia™ ABUS 2.0 Fully Automatic Breast Ultrasound AI Comprehensive Solution can also enable remote connection for image reading and a diagnostic center model, promoting the decentralization of breast cancer screening resources. After front-end clinical scanning, Invenia™ ABUS 2.0 generates standardized, remotely transmittable 3D volumetric ultrasound images, which are transmitted to a remote diagnostic workstation, allowing medical experts to review images remotely and make precise diagnostic decisions. This facilitates the rapid diagnosis, analysis, and archiving of breast diseases, enabling doctors to quickly issue reports or refer patients to higher-level affiliated hospitals for further treatment.
For many years, GE Healthcare has continuously focused on maternal and child health, driving the rapid development of the ultrasound industry with constantly evolving technological breakthroughs and innovative products. At this year's CIIE, GE Healthcare also unveiled for the first time its ultra-high-end research digital mammography system, the Senographe Pristina Hygeia. This mammography system enables full-process tomosynthesis, precise lesion localization, and rapid confirmation of biopsy samples, enhancing the patient experience. By promoting the integration of precision diagnosis and treatment for breast diseases through technological innovation, it provides more comprehensive care for women's health.
