In the field of women's health, Abbott is presenting the "debut" of its innovative drug Fen Yue Ning at this year's CIIE. It is suitable for treating estrogen deficiency symptoms in postmenopausal women who have been menopausal for at least 12 months. This further enriches and optimizes menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) options, helping eligible women navigate menopause more comfortably. The latest "China Menopause Management and Menopausal Hormone Therapy Guidelines 2023 Edition" recommends comprehensive lifestyle adjustments starting from perimenopause and initiating medical interventions, including MHT, under a doctor’s guidance in appropriate populations. This is the only solution that comprehensively addresses various issues caused by estrogen deficiency after menopause. Fen Yue Ning is expected to launch in China in 2024, marking it as the first continuous combined formulation in China containing estrogen and progestogen components recommended by authoritative guidelines.
