China Securities News (reported by Song Weidong) -- On November 9, China Securities News learned from He Eye (301103) that during the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), He Eye signed a 2024 strategic cooperation agreement with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. The two parties will deepen their cooperation in areas such as enhancing cataract treatment technologies, dry eye diagnosis and treatment services, and talent echelon construction, jointly promoting the long-term development of the ophthalmology industry.

After negotiations, He Eye will closely cooperate with Johnson & Johnson Vision Care on promoting the application of new ophthalmic technologies and products, enhancing cataract surgical techniques among young and middle-aged doctors, and cultivating ophthalmic talent. In the future, both parties will carry out "pilot projects" for innovative programs at Hainan Boao He Eye Hospital. They will also strengthen cooperation in new cataract diagnosis and treatment technologies, as well as the promotion of medical equipment applications, jointly advancing the market entry of new ophthalmic technologies and products in China to quickly align with international advancements. Additionally, He Eye and Johnson & Johnson Vision Care will jointly establish a Refractive Cataract Surgery Demonstration Center and an Astigmatism Standardized Management Demonstration Center to promote high-quality development in refractive cataract treatment and astigmatism diagnosis and treatment.

He Eye, founded by Dr. Wei He, an ophthalmology medical doctor returning from overseas studies, Vice Chairman of the China National Technical Guidance Group for Blindness Prevention, Executive Council Member of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, and Executive Director of the International Eye Foundation, along with his team, is a group-type chain eye health service institution integrating medical treatment, teaching, and research.
