On November 9, Amgen released its Q3 2023 financial report, which showed stable growth in Amgen's Q3 performance.
Total revenue in the third quarter reached $6.9 billion, a year-over-year increase of 4%, with product sales volume growing by 11% year-over-year. Non-GAAP earnings per share were $4.96, a year-over-year increase of 6%.

Strong global demand for Amgen's drugs drove product sales volume growth of 11%, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit sales volume growth.
Seven drugs achieved record-high quarterly sales, with EVENITY and Prolia showing sales growth of over 50%.
Advance Innovative Product Pipeline
In the third quarter, two of Amgen's drugs were granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA): Tarlatamab for the treatment of small cell lung cancer, and Belantamab for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
New data from the Phase 2 clinical trial of Olpasiran show that lipoprotein(a) levels remain reduced approximately one year after the last dose.
