Recently,Shenglin Biomedical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenglin Bio"),A Chinese biotech company focused on the development and commercialization of universal immune cell therapy products recently announced a collaboration withSenti Biosciences, Inc.(NASDAQ stock code:SNTI") (hereinafter referred to as "Senti Bio"), a biotechnology company that uses its proprietary gene circuit platform to develop next-generation cell and gene therapies, has reached a new strategic cooperation for the clinical development of the solid tumor treatment product SENTI-301A in China.

Through this collaboration, Shenglin Biomedical will lead the clinical development, operations, and production of the SENTI-301A product under the technical support of Senti Bio. Shenglin Biomedical plans to first recruit clinical trial participants in mainland China, with the first participant expected to enroll in the first half of 2024. Shenglin Biomedical and Senti Bio also have the opportunity to expand the clinical development of SENTI-301A to Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions of China. Senti Bio will retain all commercial rights for SENTI-301A outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

According to the terms of the collaboration, Senti Bio will be eligible to receive up to$156 millionMilestone payments and tiered royalties. Other terms of the transaction have not been disclosed at this time.

SENTI-301AIt is an off-the-shelf CAR-NK cell therapy derived from healthy donor sources, specifically designed for the treatment of tumors expressing GPC3.
