From November 5 to 11, Shanghai Cell Therapy Group hosted the "2023 Chenghuang Nobel Week," inviting six Nobel laureates to attend in person for in-depth exchanges: Edward Moser and May-Britt Moser, winners of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine; Joseph Taylor, winner of the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physics; George Smoot, winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize in Physics; Andre Geim, winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics; and Ben Feringa, winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Shanghai Cell Therapy Group signed cooperation agreements with four Nobel laureates, including George Smoot and Andre Geim, inviting them to become the group's "Cheng Huang Plan Nobel Promotion Ambassadors." This move aims to experience and share health awareness and concepts, maintaining the capabilities and vitality of cells and the body as if they were young. It is also an innovative initiative launched by Shanghai Cell Therapy Group to open a new track in cell empowerment.

As the global population ages rapidly, Qian Qijun, Chairman of Shanghai Cell Therapy Group, believes that the window of opportunity to promote the demand for aging without decline has emerged, and technological advancement is imperative. Against this backdrop, Shanghai Cell Therapy Group has embarked on a new track of cellular energization. The group's "Cheng Huang Plan" was born, dedicated to using cellular rejuvenation as a cornerstone to lead the transformation of immunity, reshaping the youthful state of skin, organs, and systems, enabling people to be healthier, more beautiful, and live longer, filling life with vitality.

It is reported that, over the past 10 years since its establishment, Shanghai Cell Therapy Group has completed the construction of an ultra-large immune cell repository with 1.6 million samples. It has provided cell preservation, intervention, cancer risk monitoring, and other cell rejuvenation management products and services to more than 80,000 people, while continuously investing 3-5 billion yuan annually in R&D for many years. Based on a large number of samples and data, the group has conducted research on cell technology products and technologies, achieving a series of breakthroughs in foundational cell technologies. It has applied for 380 patents, including 74 PCT international patents, and has been granted 104 patents. The group’s R&D team of over 400 members, focusing closely on cell technology, discovered that "energy metabolism" in cells plays a crucial role in cellular dysfunction during aging. This led to the creation of the industrial track known as Chenghuang Cell Energy Recharge.

Qijun Qian introduced that the Shanghai Cell Therapy Group is focusing on the Chenghuang Cell Recharge Strategy, with a planned investment of billions of yuan. First, strengthen research to generate product strength. Based on identifying the star molecules for cell recharge, continue to search for key factors in cell recharge and develop products for detecting cell recharge. Second, establish the world's highest-quality supply chain system to provide top-grade critical raw materials and products for cell recharge, ensuring product quality from the source. Third, comprehensively and systematically carry out clinical research to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the products. (Xin Xiao)
