This is also the first CAR-T product in China approved for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia.Inaticabtagene Autoleucel Injection (CNCT19 Cell Injection, Inaticabtagene Autoleucel) is a CAR-T cell therapy product targeting CD19, featuring an innovative CD19 scFv (HI19a) structure. At the 64th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting held in December last year, researchers disclosed relevant study data showing that, as of September 27, 2022, among 39 adult r/r B-ALL patients who received Inaticabtagene Autoleucel infusion, the overall response rate (ORR) reached 82.1%. The median duration of response (DOR) had not been reached at a median follow-up of 9.3 months; among patients still in remission at 3 months, it was estimated that 80% would remain in remission at 1 year, regardless of whether they subsequently underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, demonstrating sustained remission and long-term survival benefits. In terms of safety, the incidence of grade 3 or higher cytokine release syndrome (CRS) was 10.3%; the incidence of grade 3 or higher immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) was 7.7%, with no unexpected adverse events related to CD19-targeted CAR-T treatment reported.According to another announcement on the Juventas website, the IND application for Nalgevocel Injection has also been approved by the U.S. FDA and is proposed for development to treat adult relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL).As of now, four CAR-T products have been approved for marketing in China: Juventas’ Nageo-lunthera Injection, Fosun Kite's Axicabtagene Ciloleucel Injection (CD19), Wuxi Jumo's Relma-cel Injection (CD19), and IASO Biotherapeutics' Eque-cel Injection (BCMA). Their prices are 1.2 million yuan/dose, 1.29 million yuan/dose, and 1.166 million yuan/dose, respectively.
