Bayer Invests €130 Million in Innovative Injectable Drug Manufacturing Facility in Berlin

Recently, Bayer has added a brand-new production facility to its global supply chain network. The highly digitalized manufacturing process ensures safe, rapid, and sterile drug preparation, filling, and lyophilization. Highly automated robotic filling machines combine efficient and reliable pharmaceutical production, designed to bring drugs from concept to market faster and ultimately benefit patients. This production facility serves critical manufacturing areas with high medical needs, such as ophthalmology products, with future plans to supply the U.S., European, and Chinese markets.

New Facility for Producing Innovative Injectable Products

This production facility is located at the headquarters of Bayer's Pharmaceuticals Division in Berlin, Germany, which is one of Bayer's globally significant manufacturing bases. This base is developing into a global "leading injection production center."
