On November 29, Biolexis Therapeutics announced the completion of$10 Million Series A Financing. The investment was led by renowned institutional investor and alternative investment firm Clark e Capital.

October this yearBiolexis Therapeutics has just announced the launch of its subsidiary Metabolexis,Developing Drugs for Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Using Artificial Intelligence。

Metabolexis will focus on developing three targeted oral small molecules, including subtype-specific activators of AMPK, aGLP-1/GLP-1R agonists, and mTORC1 inhibitors.

And plans to submit Investigational New Drug (IND) applications for these three drugs to the FDA by the end of the fourth quarter of 2024, and initiate first-in-human Phase I safety clinical trials in the first quarter of 2025.

Biolexis Founded in 2021 by cancer biologist Dr. David J. Bearss and medicinal chemist Dr. Hariprasad Radhakrishnan, with its headquarters located in Utah, USA.
