Small Molecule Drug Developer

On November 29, Biolexis Therapeutics announced the completion of$10 Million Series A Financing. The investment was led by renowned institutional investor and alternative investment firm Clark e Capital.
Biolexis Therapeutics, Inc. through its proprietaryMolecuLern AI-Supported Drug Discovery Process, discovering and developing novel clinical candidates with unprecedented speed and accuracy.
The new funding will advance Biolexis’ development pipeline, which includes a range of promising metabolic candidates. These drugs have the potential to address various metabolic disorders that affect millions of people worldwide and are associated with serious health complications such as obesity and diabetes.

Holding 11 pipelines
Biolexis is a private clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing small molecules for cancer, immune-mediated, neurodegenerative, autoimmune, metabolic, and inflammatory diseases.
Using its unique AI-driven MolecuLern process,Biolexis Therapeutics has 40 active discovery projects and 10 pipelines at the IND development stage.。
SLX-0528 is an orally administered selective ROR-γt (retinoic acid-related orphan nuclear hormone receptor γ-t) small molecule inhibitor currently in Phase I clinical trials.

October this yearBiolexis Therapeutics has just announced the launch of its subsidiary Metabolexis,Developing Drugs for Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Using Artificial Intelligence。

AI + Metabolic Drugs
Biolexis Founded in 2021 by cancer biologist Dr. David J. Bearss and medicinal chemist Dr. Hariprasad Radhakrishnan, with its headquarters located in Utah, USA.
Dr. David Bearss is an expert in the regulation of gene expression and gene cellular function, with 15 years of research experience. After obtaining his master's degree from Brigham Young University, he continued his studies at the University of Texas, where he earned a Ph.D. in Genetics.
Dr. Hariprasad Vankayalapati obtained his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry and M.Sc. from the Institute of Chemical Technology at the University of Mumbai and Karnatak University, respectively. He completed his postdoctoral training in Organic Chemistry at the University of Sunderland, UK, and in Medicinal Chemistry at the Arizona Cancer Center, University of Arizona.
So far, Bearss and VankayalaDr. Pati has raisedSubmit more than 20 Investigational New Drug (IND) applications and have obtainedMore than 100 patents。
David Bearss said, "The financial support from Clarke Capital demonstrates the potential of our metabolic drug portfolio." "Our science is sound, and our team is ready to address unmet needs within the spectrum of metabolic disorders."
Series A Financing Marks an Important Milestone for Biolexis, Enabling it to Expand Operations and Accelerate Clinical Development of its Key Candidate Drugs.
With the rising prevalence of metabolic diseases and limited availability of current treatment options, the need for new and effective therapies is more urgent than ever.
