This investment will provide forFUJIFILM Cellular DynamicsFunding for the newly built 175,000-square-foot headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, U.S., the new campus will house an iPSC cGMP manufacturing facility, including three cleanrooms, process development laboratories, warehousing operations, and administrative spaces.This investment will double the company's existing production capacity for developing and commercializing iPSC-derived cell therapies for its partners.The new facility will also include iPSC production for drug discovery, drug efficacy, and pharmacology R&D applications. The entire production base, including cell therapy manufacturing, is scheduled to commence operations in the spring of 2026.

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies PlantLocated in Thousand Oaks, California, it is a major cluster adjacent to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and venture capital companies.This investment will provide funding for the expansion of the production base., including a new development lab and two new independent production cleanrooms, significantly boosting the production capacity for new customer projects. The talent at the California production base has extensive experience in the clinical and commercial production of in vitro cell lines, capable of manufacturing for various cell therapies. The additional capacity will be operational by early 2025.
