Sutai Bio Announces Termination of STSG-0002 Injection Clinical Development by Subsidiary Sanotech Genomics

Staidson (300204.SZ) announced that the STSG-0002 injection, developed by the company and its wholly-owned subsidiary Beijing SoloBio Genetechnology Company Ltd. ("SoloBio"), is currently in the Ib/II phase. Recently, based on the preliminary research results of the clinical trials obtained so far and after a comprehensive evaluation of various factors such as subsequent development investment, SoloBio decided to terminate the clinical trial and subsequent development of the STSG-0002 injection in order to allocate R&D resources reasonably and focus on advantageous projects in the R&D pipeline.

The announcement stated that according to the results of Phase Ia and Ib/II clinical trials and long-term follow-up, the safety and tolerability of the STSG-0002 injection were good, with no SAEs occurring and no adverse events above grade 3. After thorough communication with the principal investigators regarding the existing clinical trial data, it was concluded that the preliminary efficacy data observed so far did not meet expectations, and the subsequent subjects would have limited benefit from continuing to receive the trial drug.
