EvolveImmune Therapeutics today announced the completion of a $37 million financing round, which was supported by existing investors such as Pfizer Ventures, Solasta Ventures, and Takeda Ventures, as well as new investor Bristol-Myers Squibb.

EvolveImmune Therapeutics' proprietary EVOLVE platform uniquely unleashes potent, selective, and integrated T-cell co-stimulation, amplifying and sustaining the tumor-killing capabilities of T cells.This approach bypasses low tumor immunogenicity, conditionally activates adaptive immunity, and reduces T-cell dysfunction to address unmet needs in the treatment of solid and hematological tumors.

At a recent medical conference, EvolveImmune Therapeutics reported the progress of the EV-104 project.EV-104 is aConditionally target ULBP2,Novel Multifunctional T-cell Engagers with Integrated CD2 Co-stimulatory Signals. Existing data indicate that EV-104 demonstrates robust monotherapy antitumor activity in patient-derived bladder cancer and lung cancer tumor models. Furthermore, study results show that EV-104 in combination with a PD-1 inhibitor exhibits promising activity in preclinical models derived from patient tumors, providing a rationale for the development of EV-104 in combination with checkpoint inhibitors.
