GSK Secures Global Rights to Hansoh's B7-H3 ADC HS-20093 in $1.7B Deal

Recently, Hansoh Pharma announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shanghai Hansoh BioMedical Co., Ltd., has entered into a licensing agreement with GSK. Under the agreement, GSK will be granted an exclusive global license (excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) to develop, manufacture, and commercialize the investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) HS-20093.

HS-20093 is a novel B7-H3-targeted antibody-drug conjugate composed of a fully humanized anti-B7-H3 monoclonal antibody covalently linked to a topoisomerase inhibitor (TOPOi) payload.HS-20093 is currently undergoing multiple Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials in China for the treatment of lung cancer, sarcoma, head and neck cancer, and other solid tumors.

According to the license agreement and its terms and conditions,Shanghai Hansoh BioMedical Co.,Ltd. will receive an upfront payment of $185 million and is eligible to receive up to $1.525 billion in milestone payments for the product.

Public information shows that this is the second licensing collaboration between Hansoh Pharma and GSK within this year. In October, the two parties had already reached a licensing collaboration for the ADC product HS-20089 targeting B7-H4, with upfront and milestone payments totaling up to $1.57 billion.
