On September 22, 2025,  AusperBio Therapeutics, Inc. and Ausper Biopharma Co., Ltd. (collectively AusperBio), a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing targeted oligonucleotide therapies for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) functional cure, announced the completion of a USD 63 million Series B2 financing round.

This financing round was co-led by Qiming Venture Partners and a world-renowned industrial investment institution. It also saw the participation of a number of leading investment institutions in China, including HanKang Capital, CDH VGC, YuanBio Venture Capital, Sherpa Healthcare Partners, and Genesis Capital. This marks the second financing round successfully completed by AusperBio in 2025, bringing the company's total cumulative financing amount to over USD 113 million for the year.

The funds raised in this round will be mainly invested in AusperBio's core development areas, focusing on three key directions:

First, accelerate the clinical trial progress of its core product—AHB-137, an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) innovative drug for achieving the clinical cure of chronic hepatitis B. This includes the Phase III clinical trial conducted in Chinese mainland, the Phase II clinical trials for combination therapy and treatment-naive patients, as well as the simultaneous advancement of overseas Phase II clinical trials.

Second, proactively lay out the commercialization and industrialization of AHB-137, laying a foundation for its smooth launch in the market and benefiting hepatitis B patients worldwide in the future.

Third, continue to expand the R&D of the company's innovative pipeline, strengthen the construction of professional teams at home and abroad, and accumulate core technologies and talent resources for the long-term development of the enterprise.
