Sanofi's Lipid-Lowering Drug Zenon (Rosuvastatin/Ezetimibe) Receives NMPA Approval in China

Sanofi Official WeChat Announcement: On December 27, Sanofi announced that its Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe Tablets (I) (Zhilida) received approval from the China National Medical Products Administration for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). According to reports, as the first approved and launched Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe single-pill combination in China, one tablet can achieve a reduction in low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) greater than 50%.
