AusperBio Appoints Dr. Hengxu Wei as Senior Vice President and Head of CMC

On January 2, 2024, AusperBio (Ausper Biopharma Co., Ltd. and AusperBio Therapeutics, Inc.) (hereinafter referred to as "AusperBio") announced that Dr. Hengxu Wei has been appointed as Senior Vice President and CMC Head, effective December 15, 2023.Dr. Wei will be fully responsible for the company's CMC operations, including process and analytical development, GMP manufacturing, regulatory compliance, IND/IMPD document management, and collaboration with RA experts.Dr. Wei will report directly to Dr. Guofeng Cheng, CEO of AusperBio, and play a key role in the company's senior management team.

Dr. Hengxu Wei has over 20 years of outstanding leadership experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, achieving significant accomplishments in critical areas of drug development. He previously held key positions at renowned pharmaceutical companies such as GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Roche, and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), leading teams responsible for process development, clinical supply chain management, and regulatory submissions.
