Pfizer Announces Health Canada Approval of RSV Vaccine Abrysvo

Pfizer Canada announced on January 4 that its bivalent respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, Abrysvo, has been approved by Health Canada. The vaccine is indicated for the prevention of acute respiratory disease and lower respiratory tract disease caused by RSV in adults aged 60 years and older, and for active immunization through pregnant women to prevent lower respiratory tract disease caused by RSV in infants from birth up to six months of age.
