Covidien Healthcare International Trading(Shanghai)Co.,Ltd. reported,Due to the sterilization dose of a specific batch of non-absorbable nylon sutures exceeding the approved range, the tensile strength of the involved sutures may be affected.Covidien LLC, the manufacturer of Surgilon Coated Braided Nylon Nonabsorbable Suture (Registration No. 20162021023 for medical devices imported into China), has voluntarily initiated a Level 1 recall.
