SingaporeJanuary 9, 2024/PR Newswire/ -- Recently,Chemical AI and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Announce Partnership, jointly promote the R&D project of laboratory automation in the field of nanomaterials,Build the FirstSynthesis, Functionalization, and Analytical Detection of NanomaterialsAutomated Research Platform

This agreement, based on Chemical AI's integrated hardware and software technology, provides Nanyang Technological University with a full-process automation and intelligent solution from nanomaterial synthesis to analysis and testing. This will significantly improve the efficiency of experimental synthesis and processing of nanomaterials. In addition, Chemical AI will also help research teams integrate experimental data information through data models and database applications, establishing analytical algorithms that connect the structure and properties of nanomaterials.

This collaboration has not only achieved autonomous analysis and judgment of massive nanoresearch experimental data but also significantly improved the efficiency of analysis and testing, laying a solid foundation for future exploration and research of new materials.

"We are honored to have reached a long-term university-enterprise cooperation with Nanyang Technological University. Nanomaterials have broad application prospects, and Nanyang Technological University is a leader in this field," said Dr. Ning Xia, CEO of Chemical AI."Chemical AI is committed to supporting chemistry laboratories in various fields, optimizing experimental efficiency, and reducing trial-and-error costs. I highly value the role of Chemical AI technology in the research and development of new materials, and I believe our collaboration will further advance the intelligent automation of scientific research while continuing to expand the application scope of Chemical AI technology."

Chemical AI's ChemAIoT, an artificial intelligence automation solution for chemical laboratories, is built on over a decade of cheminformatics expertise and supported by a database of more than 60 million chemical records. By leveraging self-developed AI algorithms to empower composite robots, it achieves full-process automation and intelligence across multiple fields of chemical laboratories.

Chemical AI's algorithm accumulation starts from chemical needs, guided by solving practical chemical laboratory requirements. It can provide tailored, reliable laboratory automation solutions to optimize the allocation of existing laboratory modules. The experimental workstations can independently complete module tasks and also support inter-module collaboration and human-machine collaboration. Moreover, ChemAIoT has excellent expandability for third-party devices, allowing for the modification of existing laboratory hardware, the establishment of the Internet of Things (IoT), and the application modeling of experimental data.

"Nanyang Technological University has always been focused on advancing innovation and research in nanomaterials, and we are very excited to use Chemical AI's algorithms and technology to help digitize and automate research work."Xinyi Lin from the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at Nanyang Technological University (Xing Yi Ling) Professor stated, "With the synthesis and measurement empowered by artificial intelligence, our scientists now have more time to focus on creative thinking, offering unlimited possibilities for scientific innovation and application expansion."
