GSK's Nucala (Mepolizumab) Approved in China for Severe Eosinophilic Asthma

On January 10, GSK announced that the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China had recently approved Nucala® (mepolizumab injection) for the maintenance treatment of severe eosinophilic asthma (SEA) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. According to reports, Nucala is China's first targeted human anti-interleukin-5 (IL-5) monoclonal antibody biologic for this indication.
