Beijing News (reporter Liu Xu) On January 12, NKP announced that its subsidiary, Shanghai NKP Precision Medicine Co., Ltd. ("Shanghai NKP"), and HuaDao CAR-Tcell ("HuaDao Bio") recently signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement."
According to the agreement, HuaDao CAR-Tcell will guide Shanghai Neeo Biotech in building a CAR-T cell drug R&D incubator that meets the GMP production requirements for cell drugs. This incubator will provide cell drug transformation services to CAR-T cell drug R&D companies (excluding those directly competing with HuaDao CAR-Tcell) or scientists, excluding self-developed drug varieties by HuaDao CAR-Tcell. Meanwhile, under equal conditions of exclusive sales authorization fees, HuaDao CAR-Tcell agrees to prioritize entrusting Shanghai Neeo Biotech with the exclusive market sales rights for the HD CD19 CAR-T drug in the four provinces of Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, and Hunan. For the anti-aging CAR-T products developed by HuaDao CAR-Tcell, Shanghai Neeo Biotech will have the priority for market sales rights under equal authorization fee conditions.
HD CD19 CAR-T cells developed by HuaDao CAR-Tcell received implied permission for clinical trials in August 2023. The company plans to conduct clinical trials for the treatment of adult patients with refractory or relapsed B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is the sixth company in China to obtain a CD19 CAR-T clinical trial approval.
