On September 1, 2025, Beijing Tumor Hospital and Guotong New Drug officially signed the technology transfer agreement for HER2-targeted diagnosis and treatment products. Peking University Health Science CenterXiao YuanDeputy Director, Technology Transfer Office of Peking University Health Science CenterShen JuanDirector, Director of the Beijing Cancer Prevention and Treatment Research InstituteLi Ziyu`, Deputy Director`Song Yuyin, Director of Nuclear Medicine DepartmentYang Zhi、Deputy DirectorLi Nan、Zhu Hua; Core team member of the Department of Nuclear Medicine;Deputy Director of the Research DepartmentYu XinYingRepresentative. Chairman of Guotong New DrugXu Xinsheng`, Chief Operating Officer`Bai Geand others jointly attended the signing ceremony.

First Inventor of Patent, Department of Nuclear MedicineYang ZhiThe director introduced that the HER2 project focuses on clinical pain points and has developed diagnostic and therapeutic molecular probes with the core requirement of precise diagnosis and treatment of HER2-positive tumors.。HER2-PET(Al18F-HER2-BCH, etc.) molecular imaging can non-invasively, accurately, and visually display whole-body HR2 expression, significantly revolutionizing the precision of targeted diagnosis and treatment, especially forHeterogeneous tumors present critical decision-making evidence to reduce misdiagnosis and overtreatment. The HER2 project also provides radionuclide therapy technology that integrates diagnosis and treatment, offering new therapeutic options for patients with HER2-targeted drug resistance and contributing nuclear medicine solutions to the precision diagnosis and treatment system for HER2-positive cancers.
Al18F-HER2-BCH/S6 (BCH refers to Beijing Cancer Hospital, S6 is an optimized structure based on BCH) radiotracer probe developed by the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Beijing Tumor Hospital.Yang ZhiDirector,Zhu HuaDeveloped by a team of researchers, it has the advantages of simple labeling, high affinity, and can be efficiently produced in automated batches. In December 2019, this probe was approved by the Ethics Committee of Beijing Tumor Hospital for clinical trials. To date, it has been used in clinical studies involving over 300 patients and has been featured in top journals in the field such as Radiology, EJNMMI, and CNM.The project has been awarded the First Prize in the 2022 Peking University Medical Innovation and Transformation Competition, the Third Prize and Best Creative Award in the 2022 Third Capital Medical Transformation Innovation Competition, the Gold Award in the 2024 National Invention Competition, the 2024 Youchu Plan Empowerment Project, and the "Annual Transformation Prospects Achievement Award" in the 2024 China Biomedical Industry Chain Innovation风云榜, among others.

Beijing Cancer Hospital Nuclear MedicineYang ZhiThe director team has been engaged in the research and development of tumor radiopharmaceuticals and their clinical translation for a long time. In the past five years, they have published over 200 SCI papers, initiated more than 60 investigator-led clinical trial projects, and obtained authorization for more than thirty national invention patents. They have successively received support from multiple projects, including the Nuclear Energy Development Project by the Commission for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense (COSTIND), NSFC Key Projects, BJNSF Key Cross-disciplinary Integration Projects, and the Young Beijing Scholar Program. As of now,The team has achieved the transformation of 5 achievements, with a signed contract amount of approximately 100 million RMB.。
Beijing Cancer Hospital Nuclear Medicine adheres to the principle of putting patients first, aiming to serve clinical needs, and establishing a nuclear medicine department that truly benefits patients as its development goal. It has established a comprehensive HER2-targeted diagnosis and treatment platform. InYang ZhiUnder the leadership of the director and the joint efforts of the colleagues in the Department of Nuclear Medicine, the nuclear medicine team at Beijing Cancer Hospital will achieve more results in probe development and clinical diagnosis and treatment of tumors.
Introduction to the Nuclear Medicine Department of Beijing Tumor Hospital:
As of February 2025, the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Peking University Cancer Hospital has a staff of 66 members, with a complete and highly capable talent梯队: 5 doctoral supervisors and 7 master's supervisors. Two dual-appointed professors (recipients of NSFC-Young A),Nine senior professionals, 32 intermediate professionals, and 31 with doctorates, covering all fields of medicine, technology, nursing, chemistry, and physics, including 12 who have study-abroad or advanced training experience in Europe and America.

Department of Nuclear MedicineYang ZhiUnder the leadership of the director, it has always maintained a vibrant development vitality, gradually building a high-level discipline system covering the entire chain of medical treatment, teaching, and scientific research. Currently, the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Peking University Cancer Hospital is a master's degree program in Imaging Medicine and Nuclear Medicine at Peking University./PhD granting points and postdoctoral mobile stations, while shouldering the important teaching responsibility of being the standardized training base for nuclear medicine resident physicians in Beijing, it is also the Chairman unit of the Beijing Nuclear Medicine Quality Control and Improvement Center, the Chairman unit of the Radiopharmaceuticals Branch of the Chinese Nuclear Society, the Key Laboratory of Radiopharmaceuticals of the National Medical Products Administration, the Beijing Key Laboratory of Radiopharmaceutical Research and Test Evaluation, and the Research and Development Center of Nuclear Technology (Radiopharmaceutical R&D and Clinical Application) of the National Atomic Energy Agency... playing a core leading role in areas such as industry standard setting, talent cultivation, and quality control. In the future, with the continuous care of Peking University/Peking University Cancer Hospital leadership and support from all sectors of society, the Nuclear Medicine Department of Beijing Cancer Hospital will promote clinical diagnosis and treatment, scientific research innovation, and talent echelon construction to a higher standard: relying on the iterative R&D of new molecular probes, the application of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic instruments, and the introduction and transformation of cutting-edge technologies, further strengthening its advantages in precise tumor diagnosis and treatment and radiopharmaceutical R&D, continuously playing the role of an industry "pioneer," and creating greater brilliance for promoting the development of China's nuclear medicine industry and improving the level of cancer prevention and treatment!
